Overview ABOUT THE POSITION VHB's Orlando, FL office is looking for a Project Development Intern to join our team for the Summer of 2026.
Responsibilities - Review and summarize planning documents and studies
- Prepare, edit, and review technical reports
- Use and review GIS transportation data.
- Develop and update CAD drawings
- Create text and spreadsheet documents and manipulate data.
- Participate in public engagement and outreach efforts
- Occasional field data collection
- Effectively interact with VHB staff to advance projects in a timely manner.
Skills and Attributes - Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Team oriented with strong capability to work independently
- Self-motivated with attention to detail
- A strong work ethic with the desire to learn and achieve
- Good time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
Qualifications - Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or master's degree in civil engineering, planning, geography or related field.
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- MicroStation experience is preferred
